Custom software optimized to work in low signal to noise (S/N) environment. Team LightForm realized that traditional hyperspectral imaging software just could not handle the challenges presented by low S/N spectral nanoparticle characterization.
After extensive testing team LightForm developed a family of custom algorithms used extensively in the seismology community. Based on cross correlation analysis (CCA) these algorithms are not impacted by spectral non-linearity and hold up very well when signals are “buried in noise”. When used with spectral wave forms “CCA” becomes “SWCCA.”
SWCCA classifies spectra presented by the FOV, generates reference spectral libraries (RSL), and correlates sample spectra with RSL spectra. Then the software uses SWCCA to create spectral topographical maps of the FOV (hyperspectral images.) (Details)
